Meet The Team
Jonah May
Scoutmaster

Mr. May has been involved in scouting since he was a boy. Growing up, he was a member of several cub scout packs in New York and Texas. He earned his Arrow of Light in December 2009, crossing into Troop 254 a few months later.

In Troop 254, he served in many of the boy leadership positions, such as Senior Patrol Leader, Den Chief, Quartermaster, and Junior Assistant Scoutmaster. In November 2015, he earned his Eagle Scout, followed by a Bronze Palm a few months later.

As a young adult, Jonah spent several years serving as an Assistant Scoutmaster of both troops and as an active member of Venturing Crew 254, earning some of Venturing’s highest awards. Now, he serves as a Scoutmaster of both troops and as the Advisor of Crew 254.

Miss Jolliff grew up in the mountains of northwest Montana. As a youth, she spent her summers camping and winters running a dog sled team. While never a Scout as a youth, she became an adult Scouter as soon as her oldest child could join the program. She has over a decade of Scouting experience between Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, and Venturing.

Miss Jolliff was the founding Scoutmaster for the Girl Troop, Troop 254G. Today, she serves as an Assistant Scoutmaster for both Troop 254B and Troop 254G, as well as the Committee Chair for the Venturing Crew. Additionally, she has held the roles of Committee Chair for Troop and held every Cub Scout Den Leader position
.
Finally, Miss Jolliff believes that every youth should have the opportunity to participate in Scouting. As part of the Scout Law, a youth learns that “A Scout is Thrifty.” She works closely with the Committee to ensure fundraising opportunities are available so Scouts can earn their way. As part of her Wood Badge Ticket goals, she created a clothing closet. As part of being learning to be thrifty, Scouts are encouraged to donate their out-grown Scouting uniforms and gear to the clothing closet in order to help Scouts who may not be able to afford these items.
