A Story Worth Retelling

A Story Worth Retelling

Join us for a weekend of learning what Scouts BSA is all about, while working on Webelos and Arrow of Light adventures. Over the weekend, Webelos Scouts will form patrols and be in a troop under the guidance of a Scoutmaster. In their patrol, they will be led by Patrol Leaders who are current Scouts in Scouts BSA. In their patrols, Webelos Scouts will get a little taste of the independence and self-reliance they learn in Scouts BSA.

Over the course of the weekend, Scouts will participate in flag ceremonies, learn to tie knots, set up their own campsites and kitchens, cook together as a Patrol, build fires, learn basic wilderness survival, and more! These activities will allow a Scout to work on their Cast Iron Chef, Building a Better World, Outdoor Adventurer, Scouting Adventure, and Castaway adventures.

While food and most equipment will be provided, Scouts will need to pack their own personal gear. We will also need a Part A and B medical form for all attendees and valid Youth Protection certificates for all adults camping. Siblings are welcome to join in on the fun! Please have these forms printed and ready to turn in on Friday night.
