Dues Payment 1 (due 10/31):

• Troop Technology Fee ($30.00) – one time per family, per year
• Scout Dues First Scout includes Scouts Life Magazine ($199.00)
• Adult Dues ($110.00)

The Troop pays to register the following positions: Scoutmaster, Committee Chairman, COR, Executive Officer, Advancement, and Treasurer.

Dues Payment 2 (due 4/30):

• Scout Dues ($100.00) – waived with parent/guardian volunteer service as outlined below

Meet the Volunteer Service obligation by earning a 100%

Group A – 75%
Volunteering for the following earns 75% credit toward the $100 dues payment:
• Membership Coordinator
• Fundraising Coordinator
• Outdoor/Activities Coordinator

Group B – 50%
Volunteering for the following earns 50% credit toward the $100 dues payment:
• Life to Eagle Adviser
• Re-charter Coordinator
• Counsel one Merit Badge
• Attend Wood Badge
• Database Coordinator
• Kitchen Coordinator
• Grub Master
• Training Coordinator
• Attend and volunteer for a full week of Summer Camp (entire camp)

Group C – 25%Volunteering for the following earns 25% credit toward the $100 dues payment:
• Attend Scoutmaster Training
• Support one Troop Fund
Raiser
• Attend High Adventure
Training Course
• Partial week of Summer
Camp (3-night minimum),
• FOS Coordinator
• Troop Clothing Coordinator
• Be an assistant to a Group A
position
• Chaplain’s Aid
• YPT Coordinator

Group D – 10%
Volunteering for the following earns 10% credit toward the $100 dues payment:
• Attend one Roundtable Meeting
• Drive on one Camp Out/Outing
• Attend one Camp Out/Outing
• Attend one Committee Meeting
• Attend other adult training
• Support one Service Project
• Head up one fundraising event

 

Examples for earning 100%:

50% – Attend five campouts (10% each)
50% – Counsel one Merit badge (50% each)
100% Total

20% – Drive on two campouts but not attend (10% each)
10% – Attend one campout but not drive (10% each)
20% – Attend two committee meetings (20%)
50% – Spend a full week at summer camp
100% Total
